Well being on the gear is no big deal but I thought I would highlight a couple of items.
In this photo you will see one of 4 access panels that allow for service. The lower left fwd portion of the fuse houses many wires, cables and most importantly, the fuel pump assembly. This is an area that will need service and getting to this is a pain from the inside.
Getting the inverted system in with the remote filter assembly is no small task. On the Super 8 the engine mount is very close to the firewall and leaves little room for stuff. Working on the firewall items is not easy. Here I am sanding and filling the windscreen fairings. One concrete block on the tail seems to keep about 10lbs of tail wheel weight.
