Hartzell Propeller and Team AeroDynamix Announce Partnership

Team AeroDynamix roared into Oshkosh this year behind new Hartzell Propeller Advanced Structural Composite (ASC-II) propellers and proudly displaying the distinct Hartzell Propeller logo on all aircraft and flight suits. In a multi-year partnership, announced at a joint press conference at AirVenture 2013 on August 1, Hartzell is making a significant investment in Team AeroDynamix, including ASC-II propellers, spinners, governors, and service for each aircraft through 2018.

Hartzell Propeller President Joe Brown and Team AeroDynamix Flight Lead and Founder Mike Stewart remarked on this as a natural fit for the two businesses.  Stewart said, “Team AeroDynamix is proud to join the Hartzell Propeller family. It's a milestone experience for us to be backed by the industry icon in propeller development, design and service. We are proud to demonstrate the advantages of these world class propellers. ”

According to Brown, this new brand alignment has many benefits, including product development and marketing. He also said this relationship is exciting on a personal level for Hartzell employees, because so many of them are avid pilots or builders.

The team installed the new propellers in June and flew to Hartzell headquarters in Piqua, Ohio, on June 27 to participate in a Hartzell Propeller Employee Appreciation Day to say thank you for the exceptional work and support.  Team pilots toured the plant, joined employees for lunch, flew an air show at Hartzell Field (Propeller Town, USA), and shared the thrill of close formation flying with 11 lucky employees. Highlights of the day are included here, in this video announcing the partnership:

Hartzell Propeller is widely recognized as the leader in advanced propeller design and manufacturing technology, serving a wide range of general aviation markets, from ultra-light experimental to heavy application high horsepower turboprops.  Hartzell Propeller was founded on the principle of “Built on Honor” – a tradition that continues today.
