Support tabs

One of the issues with the side skirts is supporting them along the longeron. According to others, experience shows that during flight, the air pressure of 200+mph flight causes them to bow out. So I took an idea from George Orndorf (videos) and welded tabs to the bottom support rail. I started by making a jig to hold the tab during welding. A wooden block, clamped around the rail, with little tongs to hold the tab in for welding.

Here is a length view. Careful on your tab angles, they must clear the roller rail support and the the rear latch block as the slider goes rearward.

This is going to work great. My buddy Paul also found a solution to this.
